The name says sound. The machines say much more. 

It began in 2008, with a simple question: why does a pinball machine feel so much smaller than it plays?

Nicolas and Timothée, aka “The PinSound Brothers”, grew up surrounded by pinball machines and musical instruments. One became a software engineer, the other a hardware engineer. Together, they set out to rebuild their favorite machine, The Twilight Zone, from the inside out.

It took five years. Countless prototypes, thousands of hours, and a refusal to ship anything merely good enough. In 2013, the first PinSound board was born, the very first replacement sound board for pinball machines. It was not the destination. It was the starting point.

Because a pinball machine is not played with the ears alone. It is seen, felt, and lived. So the brothers kept going: replacement CPU and driver boards that bring silent machines back to life, high-end displays, immersive video speaker panels, shaker kits, speaker kits, headphone stations. A complete range of upgrades for 340+ machines spanning four decades, from the golden age of Bally/Williams to the latest Stern SPIKE 3.
