Hello, I bought this board for my Corvette, which had broken down.
Pure joy and top-notch service: it looks great, it's well designed, it's well packed and they don't take you for a ride.
Everything is there, even things you wouldn't think of: the batteries for the board!! The tools to remove the components!!! Sweets for the kids!! All that's missing is 10 bucks and a Mars bar.
Installing the components and the board: 5 minutes. The instructions are very well done.
Switch on: it works, it makes pretty colours, and the pinball machine didn't notice a thing.

The new rocket CPU is an outstanding design in combating old rest issues on my TZ. Thank you Pinsound for bringing new age technology into the pinball world and giving new life to my TZ.

The Rocket CPU replaced an old battery damaged CPU, Which was modded with a NVRAM Chip but the board eventually gave up. Swapped over all the chips including the NVRAM, set the switches for Europe and NVRAM, powered up without the battery. The Rocket CPU worked perfectly and I had all my game scores and settings still. I then added the battery basically just to use the real time clock, which is a vast improvement on the old time clock. Overall very pleased, great product for those needing/ wanting a modern CPU board.
